Acoustic Electric Guitar

I may not know and awful lot about music but an acoustic electric guitar
sounds like a contradiction in terms. However, one of the hottest trends in
musical instruments on the market today is the acoustic electric guitar that
offers the subtle, soft sounds of the unhooked stringed instrument with the
added benefits offered in the electric unit.
When my boyfriend said that he wanted one of these musical instruments for
his birthday, I initially thought that he was joking. I pictured myself
going on a wild goose chase for an acoustic electric guitar that simply
doesn’t exist. At first, I ignored his mentioning the stringed instrument
but then I got the feeling that I should do a little research to find out
more about this item.
After reading about the acoustic electric guitar I wasn’t a bit surprised
that my boyfriend had his eye on the instrument. I figured that the Washburn
model would suit his needs (especially because he mentioned that specific
name). The great thing is that this acoustic electric guitar is really
affordable.
I was going to split the cost for the musical instrument with my boyfriend’s
mother but why should I share the glory? The Washburn guitar is a steal at
less than 150 bucks. It took no time for me to save up enough cash to make
the purchase and I knew that he would love the gift.
When the Washburn acoustic electric guitar arrived I was thrilled. The
craftsmanship is outstanding and the instrument gleamed in the light. The
shiny finish was the perfect touch that made me realize that I had made a
great purchase for my boyfriend’s birthday. I couldn’t wait to give it to
him.
Of course, he knew exactly what it was once he saw the gift-wrapped box but
he had no idea how nice the acoustic electric guitar would be. He quickly
discovered how nice this musical instrument really is in just one glance. He
mentioned that the gig bag that comes with the guitar is a real treat, too.
He does have a more expensive electric guitar that he takes when he plays
with his band. The acoustic electric guitar makes for great back up in case
something goes wrong with his steady instrument. With how good his new
guitar sounds, he may be taking the acoustic electric guitar on the road
with him as his primary instrument.
